TO2MB 2019

26 March 2019

After 8 "days" of EME-activity we pack everything again and prepair it for the return journey. We were quite successful. In total are 224 QSO's in the log (2m: 134, 70cm: 46, 23cm: 44).
The need for 2m-QSO's surprised us  a little bit
, because it was activated by OM's from france two times in the past. Thank you for calling TO2MB!

Many thanks to our sponsors:
JH0BBE, ZS4TX, OH6ZZ, DL9KR, US7GY, OH4LA, DK3WG, SP8NR, G4DML, OK1IL,
DL7APV, UT5DL, SM7THC, DM5TI, OE3NFC, OK1DFC, I2RV, VA6EME, NA5C, W7JW, K5QE, W8KEN, W2HRO, UA3PTW, DL8MAI, IW4ARD, RM8A, DL5FN, IK4WLV, I2FAk, SM6VTZ, DL7UDA, DL1KDA, W5ADD, IK4PMB, SP2FH, N4QWZ, G8RWG, DK5AI, K5LA, IK3COJ, ON4AOI, PA0BAT, DL8DAU, G4DHF, G4PLZ, YO4GJH, PA3FXB, FK8CP, K9MRI, VK4EME, IK4ADE, RA3AUB, OH3AWW, DK4TG, YO5BIN, G4YTL, W5LUA, HB9Q, DL8FBD, DK5YA, NC1I, G4EZP, DK5LA

25 March 2019

Next MR (26 March, 03:00 UTC) we will be QRV on 2m. On 23cm (44 QSO's) and 70cm (46 QSO's) we finished our activities.

23 March 2019

We finished our activity on 70cm. There are 46 QSOs in the log. Today we are on 23cm QRV for the last time. 25 March last activity on 2m.

22 March 2019

Last night it rained consistently here. There were only a few stations on 2m QRV. On March 25th we will be on 2m QRV again. Today we hope for good 70cm conds and many calling station.

21 March 2019

At 2m we had strong QSB last night. Mr. Faraday was also active again. Sometimes we had only one-way connection or, as in the first days, different polarization for RX and TX. The 2m log has filled up anyway. Tonight we will be active again on 2m. The parallel operation on two bands is not possible because our reservetransceiver has not survived the flight transport without problems (frequency drift).

20 March 2019

Unexpectedly, there is a need for a QSO with the DXCC FM at 2m. In the log are after the first day on 2m 68 QSO's. It was interesting that we almost always received the stations in V-polarization. About 25% of the QSOs we did with different polarization for RX / TX. For QSO's with Japan our window was too small. We had seen JH2COZ shortly before MS here, but it was not enough for a QSO. MS is about 15 degrees here. The next activity is again at 2m.

If you wish to sponsor our activity, you are welcome.  All sponsors will receive a direct QSL after successful QSO.

19 March 2019

At the moment we have 24 degrees here (9h local time). Last night we were quite successful at 23cm. There are 38 QSOs in the log. Now we have to install the 2m antennas. The 23cm system is on stand by, that we can change quickly if necessary. The logs are up-to-date and some new pictures you can find here.

18 March 2019

Last night we made 33 QSO's on 70cm. Unfortunately, the moon is no longer visible at about 15 degrees MS. As a result, we have no chance to work stations from Japan. That is a pity!
This afternoon we assembled the 23cm antenna. Now everything is ready for the first 23cm activity from Martinique
. We hope that we bring a lot of OM's a new DXCC country.

17 March 2019

After a 24 hour journey we arrived our QTH (locator FK94lt) late at night. Our luggage (150 kg) is complete. At midnight local time it was a pleasant 21 degrees. Peter (DJ4TC) and Sören (DL3RKS) have now gone for food. Peter (DL1RPL) is allowed to unpack the equipment (24 degrees at the moment) and set up the antenna for 70cm. We want to start at MR (elevation 0 degrees). We hope to see your trace on our screen! Some photos click "pictures" please.
