S9YY (EME) is QRT. At al 317 OSO's on 2m and 46 QSO's (41 initials, 2 in CW) on 70cm are in the log. Thank you al for working S9YY!

This morning I made QRT after 317 QSO's on 2m. Then I replaced the 2m antennas by the 70cm antennas. From 00:00 UTC (22.10.2016) until MS I will activate 70cm the last time. At the moment we have the usual power failure. Tomorrow starts then the dismantling and the preparation of the return journey.

Last night it rained and a thunderstorm passed by. The MR was left of the bushes. I had moved the antenna to another location, so I could work with 0 degrees of elevation. Unfortunately, I had only seen ZL3NW before he had MS. Otherwise it was very good with the JA-
Otherwise we had the usual power failures and I was fighting with the internet connection. N0UK and smartphone are a challenge.

I have 221 QSO's in the 2m-

At the moment we have no power ...
Great problems are also caused by the HF here. The distance between the antennas is only about 10m. RTTY and CW with amplifier I can hardly filter out.
The polarization of TX and RX is mostly different on 2m. I have to try it all the time ... Sorry if it sometimes takes. So far, there are 145 QSO's on 2m.
In the radio room I have no aircondition and Internet only outside (not always). I am therefore only from time to time in the N0UK.

Yesterday I had again considerable problems with the mains voltage. It went up and down to 138V. The power amplifier had then only 40V instead of 50V, since the switching power supply has no longer managed to settle. I hope my technique can cope with that. So far, only the HF group had losses.
I have tried to find a better location for the antenna to be able to work at moonrise earlier. Unfortunately the big bush is always in the way. Only next week is moonrise left of the bush. Sorry, but I do not have other options.
Today I will work again on 2m. Please do not always call on the frequency QRG +/-

In the direction of the moonrise is a big bush, so I can work this week only from about 25 degrees elevation. I will try to find a better location for the antenna in the next days.

Today I set up the antenna at 30 degrees in the shade. Everything was fine, but a problem is the supply of electricity here. I can not operate the air conditioner and the power amplifier at the same time. Regardless of the currently bad EME conditions, I have made a few QSO's. Without good internet connection and the high temperatures it was not easy.

Our trip went from Berlin via Lisbon and Accra to Sao Tome without problems. In Sao Tome we passed the customs, but not completely free ...
Our QTH is ok, but the internet connection is slow. It is already late so I will build the EME-

We hope to arrive our QTH on Friday October 7 late evening. I will start to build up the EME-
I expect to be QRV on 2m/70cm
Activity on 70cm will be during two complete moonpasses:
1. On Friday 14 (MR about 16:00 UTC, MS Saturday about 03:30 UTC)
2. On Saturday 22 (MR about 00:00 UTC, MS about 11:00 UTC) ARRL EME Contest!

Today I received the visa for Sao Tome & Principe. Now everything is complete!
21.04.2016
I will be QRV from S9 (Sao Tome & Principe) from October 8th untill October 23rd. I will be there joining a German HF-
The flights and location have been fixed and paid for. The EME-
